Are you in Hong Kong or planning a trip and wondering where to drink with a view? There are countless things to do (view our suggestions), but this spot is a must-see. It’s the highest bar in the world—grab a drink and float in the clouds.
We visited The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong for a spa massage at the highest spa on earth and stayed in a room we expected to have an epic view. Instead, we were surrounded by an endless, surreal white fog, like living in a dreamy, psychedelic cloud. Our 100th-floor window view? Total whiteout.
To make things even more dramatic, we got stuck in the elevator between the 116th and 118th floors. Twenty minutes of my life flashed before my eyes, but the hotel staff was fantastic, easing our nerves with a complimentary prosecco and securing a prime spot at Ozone, the highest bar in the world on the 118th floor.
The Highest Bar in the World: OZONE at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong
Ozone is sleek, futuristic, and sits 490 meters above the ground. The vibe? Windy, mysterious, with clouds swirling through the bar—like a scene from a sci-fi movie. Drinks start around HK$150, and their menu features innovative cocktails and Asian-inspired tapas.
Open daily from 5 PM to 1 AM (till 2 AM on weekends), Ozone belongs to The Ritz-Carlton and first opened in 2011. It’s worth going when the sky is clear for those unbeatable city and harbor views (if you are lucky, check the weather before visiting).
Address: The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong, 118/F, International Commerce Centre, 1 Austin Road West, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
