The costs associated with TravMedia are charged to brands and PRs and are tied to conferences and events. For instance, IMM 2026 cost $3,450 per delegate for TravMedia clients and $3,950 for non-clients wishing to attend.   

Alternatives to TravMedia for Travel Professionals? 

There are several other networking platforms that bring together travel and media professionals. Muck Rack is an online, AI-powered, cloud-based public relations management system that people working in the travel industry can use to find journalists and monitor media coverage. 

Muck Rack clients include Zapier, Patagonia, and other big brands in the industry. Journalists claim their profiles, feature their work, and provide details on the topics and subjects they cover, giving them the chance to secure work. A downside, though, is that Muck Rack lacks the in-person events that TravMedia runs.  

You could also check out Cision, often referred to as the largest database for its huge list of journalists and media outlets. It’s the home of Connectively (formerly Help A Reporter Out) and isn’t exclusively used by travel firms.  

If you’re looking for a multi-industry media database, Cision is hard to beat, with over 850,000 media contacts and 190,000 journalists currently active.
