Paris isn’t short of hotels – 1,500 at the last count. So, it pays to find something unique and inspiring for your short stay in the City of Light.
We’ve researched and discovered five of the newest and coolest fresh boutique hotels recently opened in Paris, giving you a glimpse into the trendiest places to stay in Europe’s favorite city in 2026 and beyond.
Le Grand Hôtel Cayré – Our Favorite Boutique Hotel in Paris
Opened in July 2024 in the 7th arrondissement within the affluent Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood, Le Grand Hôtel Cayré is a relatively new and fresh four-star property that feels like a 5-star one, but without overdoing it with a chic interior design inspired by the roaring twenties.
Accommodations are offered in 123 bedrooms and two signature suites with unrivalled Eiffel Tower views and balconies for breakfast.
Standard doubles start at €350 ($407) per night, or you can opt for the elegant grand suite for €1,160 ($1,350) nightly, with an exceptional view of the Eiffel Tower. These are room-only rates; breakfast costs €27 ($32) per person.
The on-site bistro restaurant, Annette, was named after Annette Kolb, a French-German writer who lived at the original Hôtel Cayré for seventeen years after the Second World War. Annette is a quintessential Parisian brasserie overlooking Boulevard Raspail, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have a very nice, easy-going/silent breakfast with eggs, spinach, champagne, and good waiters who speak English.
Menu highlights include the perfectly aged filet de boeuf and the Caviar Osciètre, served with ciboulette and crème fraiche. Prices are reasonable for central Paris, ranging from €26 ($30) to €120 ($139) per meal.
This is one of Paris’s few pet-friendly luxury hotels, with pups under 10kg welcomed for €50 ($58) per night.

Hotel Filigrane
Next door to Paris’ top auction house, Drouot in the 2nd arrondissement, Hotel Filigrane opened in January 2025 and is a welcome addition to this bustling area of France’s capital, with grand magasins, brasseries, and galleries all on its doorstep.
It’s a 43-room, four-star boutique hotel that reconceptualized the Grand Hôtel Vivienne after two years of restoration by Osae Partners. This city-center refuge offers compact but effortlessly chic rooms, with a charming and unique bank-note theme running through the property.
Classic rooms start at €261 ($304) nightly, while prestige terrace rooms go for €414 ($482). We encourage you to check the hotel’s website directly before booking, as they offer a best-price guarantee over popular third-party booking sites.
The hotel’s spa and tiny indoor heated pool, open from 8 a.m. until 11 p.m. daily, provide a welcome break from the streets of Paris. There’s also a hammam and sauna, alongside a full menu of massage treatments. The Californian massage, at €120 ($140) for 45 minutes, is a wonderful way to decompress after a long flight before exploring the City of Light on foot.

Maison Barrière Vendôme
With an enviable location in Paris’ fashion center in the 1st arrondissement, Maison Barrière Vendôme is next door to the Tuileries Garden and close to designer showrooms like Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Chanel.
This five-star hotel, ten minutes’ walk from Palais Garnier, opened its doors in January 2025. It has just ten boutique rooms, six suites, and ten apartments, inspired by 26 Parisian icons, including Audrey Hepburn, Madame Curie, and Nina Simone.
If location is at the top of your priority list, you won’t find a better new boutique hotel in Paris. But on the flip side, the rates are steep, with courtyard rooms starting at €870 ($1,010) per night, while two-bedroom grand suites are priced at €3,348 ($3,905) nightly.
While there isn’t a restaurant within the hotel itself, guests are invited to dine at Frida, a few steps from the hotel’s entrance, where breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner are served. Highlights include the wagyu beef burger, tuna and avocado tartare, and the sea bream ceviche.
Prices range from €24 ($28) to €125 ($145), with 30g of Caviar prized as the signature dish.

La Fondation
Tucked away in the authentic Batignolles neighborhood in Paris’ 17th arrondissement, La Fondation might not have the most desirable Parisian postcode, but it does offer exceptional value for five-star luxury, which you cannot find in the city’s single-digit arrondissements.
You’re within a stone’s throw of three metro stations that will have you at the heart of Paris in no time, so La Fondation’s 58 stunning guestrooms and suites are appealing to anyone willing to access true Parisian luxury without the exorbitant price tag at more central properties.
Standard doubles at La Fondation, newly opened in April 2025, start at just €328 ($382) nightly, which is fabulously low for a five-star hotel in Paris, while balcony suites go for €1,248 ($1,455).
Described by its owners as an “urban cocoon” and designed by New York studio Roman & Williams, the hotel’s attention to detail is evident everywhere, from the tastefully and artfully decorated rooms to the quaint brasserie, rooftop restaurant, and hanging garden.
Brasserie La Base is an all-day eatery on the property’s first floor, but dining at the rooftop La Fondation Restaurant is the best experience, with panoramic views of the city and the Eiffel Tower in the distance. Mains range from €26 ($30) to €46 ($53) and include Parisian favorites like beef tartare and rib steak with béarnaise sauce.

Le Grand Mazarin
Opened in June 2023 and within the popular Le Marais district in Paris’ 4th arrondissement, Le Grand Mazarin Hotel’s historic and French classicism-inspired interior matches the magic and cultural intrigue of one of the city’s most fascinating areas.
The hotel is steps from the BHV/Marais luxury department store and within walking distance of many of Paris’ most visited museums, including the excellent Musée Cognacq-Jay and Carnavalet, which exhibits memorabilia from the French Revolution.
Accommodations are offered in 47 guestrooms and 14 suites, the latter with balconies offering uninterrupted views of the surrounding streets. Classic double rooms start at €715 ($834) per night, while the Mazarin suite with a street view costs €1,172 ($1,367) nightly.
The artful Restaurant Boubale serves a fusion of European and Middle Eastern cuisine. Entrees include slow-cooked beef cheek, cod fish kefta, and green curry with aubergine. Prices range from €26 ($31) to €78 ($91) per plate.
We highly recommend an evening in the Speakeasy bar at Le Grand Mazarin, hidden behind an innocuous door at the hotel, or you can enjoy cocktails and wine at the Boubale Bar, adjacent to the restaurant.
