My favorite business class lounge is at Istanbul Airport (IST). It’s spacious, calm, and packed with food courts offering everything from freshly baked bread to mezze, kofta, kebabs, and over ten types of olives. You’ll find local Turkish and Arabic dishes, plus prosecco and wine on tap. There’s always room to stretch out, and the big news screens keep you updated without being intrusive. On the flip side, the lounges at Dubai and Charles de Gaulle airports have been the most disappointing in my experience.
But, Qatar’s Al Mourjan Lounge, according to various reviews and ratings, still deserves its spot at the top for business-class travelers, but LaGuardia’s Chase Sapphire Lounge is quickly becoming a standout in the U.S. Meanwhile, Lufthansa’s First Class Terminal in Frankfurt is simply unmatched for first-class luxury—with personal drivers, caviar, and private bathtubs.
