Boston is a Town That Inspires Entrepreneurs and Empowers Visitors to Be Incredible Humans – by Renee Wagner

Business is as important to me as is my family. As a mother of two children and a successful entrepreneur and writer, I am always on the go. I live in Rhode Island, but most of my business is done elsewhere. I travel from Florida to California to the Hamptons for my work as a publisher and author.

For a few years now I have found great accomplishments by running The Magazine Lifestyle in America. It is not an easy job, but it brings me great joy.

I believe in the power of inspiration. On the road I consume news that I share, and I get to share stories that hold power. My brand is a visually stunning luxury lifestyle platform which aims to motivate through a glossy print publication along with the The Magazine Lifestyle TV Network and a launch of an upcoming new all-female publication called The MAG Women.

I have also produced fundraisers to support those in need like one I did last year at OCC Road House in Florida called “Salute to American Heroes.” It was a celebrity benefit concert for veterans. The star-studded evening was hosted by Rita Cosby, Emmy-winning television host and daughter of a WWII POW. Musical performers included Grammy-nominated Jimmie Allen and USA national recording artist Dave Bray.

A tribute to humanitarians as well as an awards ceremony, it honored two American heroes and gave a Lifetime Achievement Award to Paul Teutul Sr. for his ongoing work as a television personality, philanthropist, and outspoken supporter of U.S. veterans.

From star-studded covers to articles to events with profound figures, I demonstrate that you can use her voice to be a guide for the changemakers of the world.

My magazine alone has featured exclusive covers and features with country music legend Toby Keithactress Tiffany Haddish, television star Paul Teutul Sr. of Orange County Choppers, singer Idina Menzel, Real Housewives of New York City’s Jill Zarin and Luann de Lesseps to sports stars like MLB’s Johnny Damon and NFL player Donovan McNabb.

One of my favorite places to work out of and do shoots for my covers is in Boston. It is a city rich in history, culture, and beautiful scenery. I love the way every corner of town reflects on the past and brings the modern world to a great sense of harmony.

Just walking around, you feel like you can accomplish the great things that the forefathers of America did. Anything seems possible when history is strong from our ancestors, and the future looks bright.

Here are five of the best places to visit that motivate me to continue walking down the road to success. They will do the same for anyone lucky enough to visit Boston for a few days.

Many of my meetings in town are in the financial district. It is full of a newfound energy in recent years and a perfect place to meet up for a business lunch. I love to stay at The Dagny Boston Hotel, and they have a perfect restaurant here called Fin Point. The food here is exquisite and it offers a swanky setting that impresses your clients you are meeting up with. Curated cocktails are also superb.

Also attached to this hotel is this stop that has in my opinion some of the best coffee in all of Boston. I also adore their croissants and other baked goods. Everything is fresh and original. I stop here in the mornings before heading out to meetings and location scouts all over beautiful Boston.

Located in nearby Cambridge, a visit to Harvard offers a chance to explore the historic campus, visit museums, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the surrounding area.

These locations provide a mix of history, culture, and natural beauty that showcase the best of Boston that are appropriate for anyone. I love this town as much as I love being a mom and being an American entrepreneur.
